Three weeks ago, Dimash premiered on MTV Friday Livestream along with a stream of dears, half of which barely understood what was happening. I myself am not quite sure but all I know is that after a week's worth of tweeting the tags @dimash_official @MTV #FridayLivestream, dears garnered enough votes to get Dimash on the livestream among other artists who were Top Requested Artists. MTV host Kevan Kenney found himself facing dears from all over the world, speaking all sorts of languages, half of whom had never used Twitter but who were determined to see their beloved Dimash on the livestream.
And, of course, the dears found themselves facing the huge fandoms of SB19 and Arashi who had been occupying the top two rungs of the Top Requested on the Livestream. Both the fandoms are more organised than the Dears and already knew what they were supposed to do. Dears had to go through quite a number of trial-and-error situations (still are!) and even dealt with the challenge of upsets with said fandoms.
Multiple tutorials and posters were produced by the different fan clubs and personalities of Dimash's fandom. So far, it's been like a ride down river rapids. This week (same time as the US presidential elections), MTV Livestream is taking a break so everyone is sitting back and taking stock of the past three weeks. But I suspect they are just preparing for fresh new battles in the coming week.
Dimash Kudaibergen International Fan Club put out a basic what-to-do English language video, which has been translated so far into Russian, Spanish, French, Traditional Chinese, Arabic and Hebrew.
