It is a major compliment when your song is used in an artistic gymnast's routine or in a free skate program and this happened to Dimash. I feel that the music for such routines usually need to be sweeping and panoramic, even overwhelming so as to pull the audience into the performance. Alexandra Soldatova used Dimash's 'Love of Tired Swans' in her ball routine in the AA GP Moscow 2019.   The late Denis Ten used Dimash's 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' in his free skate program in 2017.  

On February 3, 2019, Dimash Kudaibergen sang 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' on an audition on CBS's new talent show 'The World's Best'.    Honestly speaking, he did a slicker performance last year at Slavianski Bazaar.  But the World's Best performance was rawer.  And he really looked the part of a man in distress with the fires all around him... the piano, the mic stand.  The judges obviously thought he was awesome... all of them (bar two) gave him their votes, so that was 48 out of 50, while the three American judges (Drew Barrymore, Faith Hill and RuPaul) gave him FULL MARKS (50 out of 50 each).  98 out of a 100 is not bad, not bad at all.
