The concert program “Stranger” which was first presented at Dimash’s first solo concert in Almaty was warmly received by the audience, becoming one of the most discussed events of September. Having started its journey from native Kazakhstan, “Stranger” will continue its way in the capital of Armenia, Yerevan. Dimash's Stranger Concert in Almaty was a cut above all other concerts Dimash had ever held. Dimash's singing was superlative, the musical presentations looked amazing and that stage with three skyscraper screens with light shows was awe-inspiring. I was not there but I saw fancams and photos... I heard stories from those who went and some were in a daze for days afterwards.  I am oh-so-impatiently waiting for the official video to be released! From the time Dimash named his fans 'Dears', there has been a strong connection between him and Dears. Even to the point of 'arguing' with dears.. 'Love you!' 'Love you more!' at his concerts. And there was that short but cute exchange of 'Dears & Dimash' and 'Dimash & Dears' on video edits and Instagram posts which finally ended with him winning when he suddenly posted a video of himself at 5 years of age playing the keyboard. Something very personal and not expected of the very private Dimash. I think the pandemic tested this connection very much. When he had a concert at Dubai... he must have wondered if dears would come. And after Dubai, there were two more concerts long delayed (Dusseldorf and Prague). On June 30, the Creative Center “DimashAli” announced a new concert of Dimash Qudaibergen in Almaty. This is the first time that Dimash will give his solo concert in the southern capital of Kazakhstan. Interestingly themed as 'STRANGER',  it will take place on September 23, 2022. I'm sitting at my laptop, pricey headphones gripping my head and holding my ears prisoner... listening to Dimash sing.  I fear I am going into another time vortex.  (Lots of interdimensional travel in Dimashstan.) When I listen to his 'Okay', I can actually hear soft breaths and whispers trailing into more wisps of sounds. SERIOUSLY.  I even heard piano notes sliding into other notes, like drops of water gently flowing into a pool. I could only hear these with these pricey headphones.  (I don't know what you call them but they have fat cushions, which I earlier thought was for the comfort of my ears but apparently not.).  Dimash is actually layering sound upon sound.... creating this beautiful audio experience.  Did I hear a xylophone???  Oh man.... I need to listen to his 'Zhalyn' now.

In one article about the new Billboard Chart 'Hot Trending Songs' (Powered By Twitter), Bandwagon talks with Carl Cheng from Twitter about how the chart works.  There was mention of BTS, NCT, Lisa of Blackpink, Taylor Swift, SB19, Mew Suppasit, Kep1er, BE:FIRST and of course, Dimash.  Here is how they described Dimash : "Considered one of the best vocalists today, Dimash Qudaibergen is well- known for his unique and contemporary take on traditional Kazakh music and his impressive vocal range.  I love vertical fancams of Dimash Qudaibergen  singing. The screen fills up my entire phone screen and he looks as if he is there just in front of me. Dimash48 has some of the best quality fancams around... bless their hearts for being willing to lug all the heavy equipment around.  Imagine how sad it would be if these fancams didn't exist... so much of Dimash's artistry unknown to the world. Here is a link to Dimash singing 'Late Autumn' at his St Petersburg concert. You can really see how much he gives his all to his performance. He holds nothing back.

 It is getting close to Dimash's concert at Dubai, United Arab Emirates and it would have been so exciting if I could go... but work commitments are grounding me 😭 I'd go for the three events, Dubai Concert, DQ Show and Gastronomy AND Dubai Expo! It will be Dimash's first concert after two years and I can already imagine how awesome it will be.  Arghhhh In the meantime, I'll console myself with his other concerts on his YouTube channel. 😢

When we first heard about the 'Shine Super Brothers S2' program, we weren't sure what it was.  Surely it wasn't another version of 'The Singer' for such formats were no longer approved under current Chinese government protocols.  Some said it was a competition with eliminations... others said it was just a program with artists living together and working on tasks together.  Yet other said it was a reality show where artists were put in a house together and then their daily interactions were observed.  It turned out that all these descriptions were correct, in a manner of speaking. Dears waited to see what would happen.   Well, I am not sure what others experienced but I found out fast that I had to follow the Youku YouTube channel (my phone couldn't handle yet another app), the 'Shine Super Brothers' official Weibo account and random Chinese dears' Instagram accounts because they were literally on-site and would share photos and videos of their s

On the 5th of January 2022, Dimash's Instagram account suddenly went inactive. I could still see the profile picture, the main headers (number of posts, number of followers etc) but all posts were not visible.  Gradually the news rippled through the fandom, causing shock and all manner of speculations. At the same time his home country was experiencing major disturbances and naturally some speculations linked the two and these even made it to yellow press sites.  His father (and manager) Kanat Aitbayev only responded to a comment a few days later with 'We're working on it.'  After two or three days, the fandom collectively seemed to decide to wait and continued their regular chats, posts... promoting of Dubai concert... it was interesting to see dears adjusting with calm. However, I suspect this calm probably had a time limit.  I'm only talking about this now because his Instagram account has come back online today (19 January 2022). I'm totally relieved to see
