I just had a totally normal Facebook post taken down. It was just a congratulatory post about Dimash receiving honours from his country. Facebook said it has cybersecurity issues. I think it's Facebook that has issues. Instagram too. META 🙄😒 So now I'm looking into alternatives. This blog is definitely one alternative. So I'll be focusing more into it. But I have another platform in mind.

How do you stay safe from scammers who pretend to be Dimash?  FOLLOW HIS OFFICIAL SOCIAL MEDIA. Block all others that have similar profile pictures and similar name. This way, they can never msg you and confuse you. Do not underestimate the scammers. Many are connected to syndicates which have developed ways to persuade people. Many victims are very intelligent people, holding highly-respected posts in their careers and communities.  So if one of these messages you, don't bother to respond. Report them and block them. Then continue spending your time on the things that make you happy. Another thing you can do is to make your Friends list private. They will go after your family and friends too. ♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️ Here is a list of Dimash's official social media accounts. Please make sure you subscribe or follow them as it will ensure you get the right info. It also helps you stay safe from scammers. You can countercheck the list against the list on his YouTube channel, Instagram and al...

On the 5th of January 2022, Dimash's Instagram account suddenly went inactive. I could still see the profile picture, the main headers (number of posts, number of followers etc) but all posts were not visible.  Gradually the news rippled through the fandom, causing shock and all manner of speculations. At the same time his home country was experiencing major disturbances and naturally some speculations linked the two and these even made it to yellow press sites.  His father (and manager) Kanat Aitbayev only responded to a comment a few days later with 'We're working on it.'  After two or three days, the fandom collectively seemed to decide to wait and continued their regular chats, posts... promoting of Dubai concert... it was interesting to see dears adjusting with calm. However, I suspect this calm probably had a time limit.  I'm only talking about this now because his Instagram account has come back online today (19 January 2022). I'm totally relieved to see ...

This hashtag #TWBDimash has taken over my social media world.  I've got it everywhere; Twitter, FB, Instagram.. hmm, did I add it to my scattered comments in YouTube?  I bet it even appeared in my Weibo posts.  So who can I blame this on?  CBS, of course.  Specifically 'The World's Best' show. In about two days, Dimash will be performng at the Battle Rounds (Wednesday 9pm EST) and my Twitter account would already be smoking hot and revving to machinegun #TWBDimash.

After some time trawling the net and various social media sites, I have come to realise that locating Dimash Kudaibergen's official social media accounts requires some skilful searching and knowledge of three different languages and writing scripts. I have had to memorise the way Dimash Kudaibergen's name is written in Latin script, Cyrillic script and Chinese characters.  And I have had to be able to suss out the actual official account from the many many Dimash Kudaibergens or Kudaibergenovs in Twitter, FB, VK, IG, YouTube etc.  It's mind-boggling!  But I have done it! Updated June 2021 : Dimash's socmed accounts are now easier to locate.  He has them listed on his official YouTube channel and his official Facebook Page. Dimash's Instagram This is now easier to find because he got verified (blue tick!)   He seems to hang out here more often than not. It's either here or his Weibo account. Naturally I don't know about any secret pe...
