Dimash's 'When I've Got You'

'WHEN I'VE GOT YOU' IS INCREDIBLE.  I needed time to absorb this adrenaline rush of music, vocals, gorgeousness and steamy-hot star-crossed lovers story.  And the visual wealth of contrasts and colours.  I just loved the wash of rich sensual colours... dripping scarlet, night-dark blue, mysterious green... and in all that, the gorgeous blonde in stark pure white.  Did anyone start wondering who was more beautiful, Dimash or the blonde?  What a wealth for the eyes.  Thank you, Dimash, you're always providing such an electrifying feast for the senses.

Dimash and Placido Domingo In A Spectacular Duet

In a spectacular duet, Dimash Qudaibergen and Placido Domingo performed the famous duet "Au fond du temple saint" ("At the back of the holy temple"). This is a duet from Georges Bizet's 1863 opera Les pêcheurs de perles (The Pearl Fishers).   Some info from DimashNews    "On January 19, 2024, the first part of the final of the 2023 competition was released on the official YouTube channel of the show "Virtuosos V4+". In the first part of the final, Dimash performed a duet with Maestro Placido Domingo, the greatest voice of the 20th century. The musicians performed the duet "Au Fond du Temple Saint" by Nadir and Zurga from the opera "Pearl Collectors" by Georges Bizet. In an 'Operatic-Dimash' Kind of Mind

I'm in an 'Operatic-Dimash' kind of mind 😅 and I do so love the way he sings 'Passione'.  He has sung this song a few times, notably at New Wave 2019 and at the Kazakh National University of The Arts' 25th anniversary gala (April 23, 2023).   Personally I like the KazNUA one.  Grim, intense and so dramatic.  Watch it and you will see what I mean.   Link direct to Passione on official concert video on Shabyt Channel https://youtu.be/0Nt6M-bx2Vw?t=3356s

Dimash on Virtuosos

Today is an exciting day because at 20:45 CET, Virtuosos will broadcast a recording of Dimash Qudaibergen and Placido Domingo singing the famous duet "Au fond du temple saint" ("At the back of the holy temple"). This is a duet from Georges Bizet's 1863 opera Les pêcheurs de perles (The Pearl Fishers).   The promo video Virtuosos is an international competition where contestants (classical musicians) perform music pieces accompanied by the renowned Hungarian State Opera. An international jury will select one winner for each country. These contestants will be supported even after the competition and given opportunities to participate in international concerts. It is a program which is perfect for Dimash who has always encouraged young talents and even stepped away from a competition in favour of young children.   More information from DimashNews : https://en.dimashnews.com/dimash-qudaibergen-will-be-a-jury-member-of-the-famous-musical-project-of-europe-virtuosos

Dimash Speaks In Such Artistic Ways

I have been fascinated by Dimash's art for quite a while. And I've spent the past few years identifying the reasons and anyone will know what some of them are from my many posts on why I like him.   Today I found another reason. Hooray for me (more reason to stay on in this rollercoaster of a fandom 😂)   REASON : He speaks about life and love in beautiful artistic ways. His music, his lyrics, his set pieces... I've 'mourned' over the changes in this world, long letters forgotten in favour of terse emails and brief smses... complex detailed creations simplified as much as possible... relationships made transitory by many pressures and expectations... basically a world condensed and truncated.   Most people no longer take time to do things. And the results leave a taste in the mouth that disappears too fast.   Dimash creates art that talks about life and love in beautifully-arranged ways, and he prepares the message to be conveyed, like a fragile glass slipper off
