When I first learned about Dimash Kudaibergen aka Dimash Qudaibergen, I tried looking for information about him on the Internet. This was in 2017 and I didn't know that most of the information about him was either in Kazakh, Russian or Mandarin. Very little was in English. So I thought and thought... and said to myself where would I find information about a young artist? The answer was obvious... fan groups! So off I went into Facebook... I didn't know how to use Instagram then and I didn't think Twitter would be much help.
And that is how I found Dimash Kudaibergen International Fan Club. Due to changes in the Kazakh alphabet (changing from Cyrillic to Latin), Dimash's name was now spelled Qudaibergen but the fan group has not changed the spelling as of this post as they felt a deep attachment to the history behind the K.
From a group of 2000+ fans, it has now grown to almost 69,000 members... fans of the incredible vocal talents of a young Kazakh artist. The people just came... all seeking to find out more about Dimash.
I myself have found myself into the group helming this fan club and it has been a vastly fascinating journey since 2017. People are very very interesting creatures.
