The Indefinable Quality of Dimash's Voice

What is it about Dimash's voice that has this indefinable quality... it's not only the sound but it's also the feel of his sound. When he sings, his voice seems to actually flow over you and sink into your heart, mind, soul... and the strange thing is not everyone gets it or experiences it. But those who do... oh wow, they go into rhapsodies and spend hours just listening to him sing.

One of my favourite 'feel' Dimash songs is 'I Miss You'. When he goes low, his sound shivers over my skin and just makes me feel like I want to keep hearing it. And when he goes high, my heart jumps into my throat and I hold my breath because I don't want to miss a single note. It's like a wash of magical emotion over me. I wish I could describe it better.

The effect is more obvious when he performs to a live audience... Here is a video of his performance of 'I Miss You' at Moscow (2020). I love the way he looks at his dears standing at the edge of the stage with the flowers.
